My magazine project, I have a lot to say about this one. In this project I was tasked to recreate an image from a magazine, said magazine could be printed out or bought from the store. The next step was finding a subject who could closely match the photo of Scarlett in the image.

I noticed after a couple of days of searching there was a classmate of mine that was interested in being my subject, she had blue eyes and dark brown hair. This was the perfect opportunity for me, all I needed to do was make the necessary changes and I could do it. So after I took my photos I uploaded the raw image into photoshop and began to edit starting with the color of the hair. It took a lot of color correction since her hair was so dark, and the blonde is not nearly the blonde in the photo but I thought it was as close as I could get. Next I moved onto the close and edits of the body position. I won’t go too into detail but lets just say that her arm was a bit lower in the beginning, so I had to move it upward and blend in some skin.

Overall, this project was fun. Sure the looming deadline was stressful, but once it was over I felt a little proud.
