This was a fun project, it was created in Adobe Audition featuring sounds from freesound.org. When creating these ambient audios I loved messing with the equalizer and reverb settings. The hardest audio to make was the ice cave, I knew exactly what I was looking for but no one seemed to have the sounds I needed. So I read up on movie designed and realized a lot of the sounds we hear are created in a studio. For example, horse hooves running could just be empty coconuts.
That mentality helped open a brand new world for me, a glass noise was used to display the crackling of ice. Using random objects that sound similar made this project a lot easier on me. All that was needed was to deepen the noise, stretch out the time frame, apply atmospheric reverb, and voila! It was pretty much done.
